Nielsen launches Asda Key Account Data

The Nielsen Company announced today that it had secured an agreement to release ASDA Key Account Data. ASDA are the UK’s No.2 multiple grocer and committed to delivering value to their customers with the best possible prices.

ASDA will be releasing Marketing data which Nielsen can segment to client-defined category and product definitions. In enabling suppliers to benchmark their performance in the context of a specific retailer it is a highly effective tracking and planning tool. Other benefits include the ability to track new product launches week by week and to analyse the performance of a retailer’s Own Label brands. Jake Shepherd, Nielsen’s Marketing & Communications Director stated, ‘This is a great opportunity for our clients to harness the power of Nielsen insight to the richness of ASDA Key Account Data.
